Advisory Councils

Working together to advance common interests

In a true spirit of partnership, First Allied advisors are heavily involved in the firm’s key initiatives through participation in councils that work hand-in-hand with management and staff. There are many ways to get involved at First Allied.

Representative Advisory Council

The Representative Advisory Council (RAC) represents the advisor community, ensuring that advisors’ perspectives and needs are considered when making decisions that can impact their businesses. Acting as a liaison between financial advisors and First Allied management, RAC members meet monthly with the firm’s executive team to discuss new initiatives and share advisor feedback. RAC subcommittees engage in annual projects that deliver actionable programs and systems to their peers.

Chairman's Emeritus Council

The Chairman's Emeritus Council (CEC) is comprised of five distinguished advisors who are appointed by First Allied to provide counsel to the firm’s executive management on a wide variety of topics. Additionally, the CEC is responsible for helping define RAC objectives and provide oversight of membership.

Operations Advisory Council

The Operations Advisory Council is comprised of advisors, select members of the First Allied executive team and home office staff. The Council provides feedback on operations and works diligently to improve processes and streamline an advisor’s interaction with the firm. Members volunteer to help refine processes, beta test systems and mentor their peers.
